OHMYGOD!!! I just got back from IslandWood and it was amazing!!! IslandWood is a school. But it's no ordinary school, it's a school in the woods. At my school, the 6th graders go there every year for 4 days and 3 nights. You go to bed at about 10:00 pm and wake up at 7:00 am. You get half an hour to get ready for the day and then go to breakfast. IslandWood has the best food EVER and it's all natural! WOOT! There are a billion different field groups (I only know the ones for my school since there were two other schools there). The groups for my school were Bog, Wind, Rain, Cloud, Thunder, and Estuary. Tuesday was sooo f-ing fun!! My group (team Bog) Went on a big hike, and we went on a suspension bridge blindfolded!!!!! I got stung by stinging nettle only one time! woot! The stinging nettle was pretty yummy though! But our field instructor, Gretchen wouldn't let us lick or kiss any banana slugs but Gretchen and Emma were sooo awesome!!!! I'll post some pics!
